Sprouting Sunflower

It's easy to grow your own sprouts in water in a glass jar or other container, all year round. The sprouts have a nutty and fresh taste of sunflower seeds, and are excellent in salads, stir-fries, smoothies and on slices of bread. They are rich in phosphorus, potassium, calcium, iron, magnesium, zinc and selenium, as well as vitamins A, B, C, D and E.
