Vallmo, Pion-, Black Poeny

A peony poppy with large double flowers in a delicious dark violet color. Fits nicely in summer flower beds and as an accent among perennials. Very beautiful for cutting and picked when the bud has risen and is about to open. The developed but still green decorative seed pod can be used as an everlasting. Autumn sowing gives earlier flowering. Sow both fall and spring to get long flowering time. Thrives in most well-drained soils. Water during drought.
