Sarracenia has tubular leaves that are colored in shades of green, red, yellow and purple. The leaves are built up to trap insects, which fall in and then cannot get out. Over the top of the leaves is often a "cup" or cap, which protects the plant and attracts insects with its colors and nectar.
Easy-to-grow carnivorous plant with compact green and reddish-brown stems.
Thrives in bright places but avoid direct sunlight.
Keep the soil slightly moist but not wet.
