Organic seed. A good variety of lettuce, which gives nice even heads with crispy leaves. Repeated sowing gives access to fresh lettuce heads all summer. Harvest by thinning before the plants start to crowd and then harvest whole plants as you go. Thrives in a loamy, moisture-retaining and well-drained soil. Water regularly.
