Rutabaga Purple Organic Sprouting

It's easy to grow your own sprouts in water in a glass jar or other container, all year round. It only takes 5-7 days before you can harvest the sprouts. Rinse the seeds and soak them for about 8 hours. Pour off the water, rinse and let them drain. Keep warm, 20-25°C. Gently rinse the seeds 2-3 times a day. Finished sprouts can be stored for up to a week in the fridge.
Turnips grow beautiful purple sprouts, and with their mild and sweet, nutty cabbage flavor, they are an excellent accompaniment to most dishes. The sprouts are rich in nutrients and vitamins A, B, C, E and K.
