Rosmarin

Cute little shrub with fragrant pine needle-like leaves. Wonderful seasoning for meat dishes, grilled meat, potato dishes, lamb, poultry and game. The leaves are also good for tea. Perennial, but not hardy. Should be overwintered cool indoors as a pot plant or grown as an annual. Sprouts slowly and unevenly. Cut off branches before the plant flowers. Tie into bouquets that can be hung to dry. Thrives in warm and porous soil. Can be grown in a large pot.
