An oblong variety suitable for storage. Gives large yields of through-colored beets without "rings" in the color. Excellent for slicing for pickling due to its oblong shape. The young leaves can be used in the same way as chard. Do not sow too early, the plants may flower if exposed to spring frosts. Then there will be no crop.
