Gyllenbär

A tasty novelty for growing in hobby greenhouses or sunny, sheltered corners. The berries are about 2 cm in size, reminiscent of a tomato and are encased in a dried leaf, looking like Japanese lanterns. The plant resembles eggplant. Used as fruit, natural, in pies and jams. Tastes like a very sweet tomato. Grow in large pots or directly in the soil. Water, fertilize and support the plant with a stick.
