Citronmeliss

A hardy, easy-to-grow and decorative herb with beautiful green foliage and pink-purple flower spikes. The fresh, lemon-scented, aromatic leaves are used for cooking and decoration. Can be both direct sown and pre-cultivated. Attracts bees and is also beautiful in the perennial border. Sensitive to frost. Thrives on most soils, both dry and moist. Harvest afterwards, before the shoots start to flower.
