Callistephus chinensis

A beautiful and popular long-lasting flower that makes an excellent cut. Matsumoto Mix has double flowers in shades of white, yellow, red or blue. Sunny growing place. Cultivation: Sow indoors in seed soil in March-April. Sow very shallow. Germinates after 7-12 days. Replant in pots with seedling soil when the seedlings have 2-3 character leaves. Plant out on the growing site when the risk of night frost is over. Remove wilted flowers as you go along to encourage continued flowering.
