Our most popular perennials
When the perennials wake up from their winter dormancy, the garden soon comes to life. Create your own beautiful perennial bed with beloved perennials that never go out of style!

Finally – it’s time to plant! In our stores, there are hundreds of amazing perennials waiting to bring beautiful colors and stylish design to your garden or patio. Some have been loved for generations and return year after year. Others have recently risen to the top.
Long blooming periods are popular
Many people want easy-to-grow perennials that require little maintenance and bloom for a long time. That's why we are seeing more and more remontant perennial varieties, meaning those that bloom repeatedly, so the flowering lasts for several months. If you want plants with long blooming periods, you can look for coneflowers, nepeta, heuchera, and certain varieties of geraniums. They combine perfectly with perennial ornamental grasses, such as Japanese sedge, which is evergreen and beautiful year-round.

Perennials for different locations
The great thing about perennials is that they come back year after year, so it’s worth putting in a little extra effort to choose the ones you like best and that are suited to thrive where you want them. Popular sun-loving perennials that tolerate drought well include lavender, lamb's ear, groundsel, steppe sage, catmint, and anise hyssop – they do wonderfully on their own, even when you’re away on vacation. If you have shade or partial shade to offer, easy-to-grow hostas, geraniums, ivy, bergenia, and spring-flowering pulmonaria are perfect.
Choose a color palette
Place your favorites in beautiful compositions that give the eyes and senses an exciting experience. Combine tall and short plants, and for example, start with a chosen color palette, such as blue-purple with white, or silver-gray with fuchsia accents. Or mix all kinds of colors in a sparkling fireworks display! Here are the perennials that are high on many people's wish lists:
Perennial top – 8 Favorites
1. Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia)
Lavender is loved by many: both humans, as well as bees and butterflies. This wonderful plant thrives in dry and sunny conditions but is also hardy enough to withstand the tough winters in much of Sweden. It spreads its delightful fragrance in the garden and is a true eye-catcher throughout the summer, especially when several plants are placed as a small hedge. The flowers are blue-purple, dark blue, pink, or white, and can be used for decoration or to flavor desserts and baked goods, or for small sachets to keep in the wardrobe.
Lavender is a perennial shrub, which becomes woody at the base and sends up new, fresh shoots in the spring.

2. Daylily (Hemerocallis)
Daylilies put on a spectacular show! Every day, they open new trumpet-shaped flowers – which bloom for just one day. But already the next day, new flowers will be there to enjoy.

3. Hosta (Hosta)
The queen of shadows! Hostas are hardy perennials that, depending on the variety, grow beautifully lush and large each year before they wither down for the winter. They have beautifully patterned leaves and produce elegant flowers on tall stems. Additionally, their fresh shoots in the spring are a true delicacy! You can sauté them, like asparagus, in a frying pan and enjoy them with a bit of olive oil and salt. Unfortunately, we're not the only ones who love hostas – this is a real snail favorite...

4. Peony (Paeonia lactiflora)
Peonies are one of the main attractions in the romantic garden. With their beautiful, large flowers, they capture everyone's attention in early summer. Peonies can live for many years and are hardy in large parts of the country.

5. Coral bells (Heuchera)
Bring color to your garden! Heuchera’s decorative foliage comes in a wide range of shades: from deep purple, almost black, to orange, blood red, pink, silver, and lime green. The different varieties produce small flowers on tall stems. They are loved by pollinators! The flowers range in color from cream white to pink and cherry red. Heuchera is an excellent ground cover that thrives in sun and partial shade – the darker the leaves, the more sun it can tolerate. In many places, it brings life to the bed for much of the year.

6. Cranesbill (Geranium)
There are many varieties of cranesbill, all with beautiful flowers in shades of pink, purple, or blue. They are easy to grow, and some varieties bloom all summer long into the fall. A true favorite of bumblebees, it has a special place in every garden.

7. Coneflower (Echinacea)
Coneflower is an old medicinal plant, often with a long blooming period. Different varieties have flowers in various colors and shades, offering plenty of pollen for bees and butterflies, and later, popular seed pods for the birds.

8. Lamb's ear (Stachys byzantina)
Wonderful, fuzzy garden favorites! Lamb's ear has a beautiful gray-green silver tone and is a sensory plant that you just can't resist touching. Its leaves are covered with tiny, tiny hairs and are soft and smooth. Lamb's ear doesn't bloom, but it serves as a beautiful contrast plant to other plants in strong colors of red and purple. It thrives in sunny, dry spots.
